Walnut Trays

As part of my continued exploration of materials, I got interested in the problem of scrap skateboard decks being thrown in landfills.  In this case, old skateboards were laminated together in a hydraulic press to create a colorful reclaimed plywood.  These strips were laminated together with Walnut before being routed into small trays.
